Known Issues with Mac OS X 10.3

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What do I need to use Gammawork?
A: A Mac operating Mac OS X with the BSD subsystem installed. Users must have write access to the Gammawork Application folder inorder for presets to be saved. Yes we understand Mac OS X is a multi-user platform so we'll be working on making it more network-user friendly on later updates.
Q: What's the "BSD subsystem"?
A: If you did a default installation of Mac OS X or you just opened your beloved mac out of the box and started using it from day one, chances are you don't have to worry about this. If you're interested, in short, BSD subsystem is a bunch of UNIX commands that are sometimes useful. You may manually install it from the Mac OS X Installer CD.
Q: Gammawork gave me a message saying that my serial number is invalid.
A: Our serial numbers are magically grown with the information you provide us. This means inorder for the serial number to work you must re-enter in all the same information in the 2nd tab named: "2. Registration Form", then go straight to the 3rd tab named: "3. Serial Number" to enter in serial number.
Hint!: After hitting "submit" in the 2nd tab, don't quit Gammawork. We will send you the serial number to the email address you entered right away. As soon as you get the serial number you're ready to go to the 3rd tab to put in the serial number. This way you won't have to enter in all your info once again.
Q: My settings give me drastic color changes.
A: One of your highlight points, in either Red, Green or Blue is stuck at a "black whole" where it drastically changes its value from what it is suppose to be there by alters the entire screen color completely. Your monitor is ok. Your images are ok too. Gammawork only modifies the values sent to the video card. To fix this, please "twiddle" your highlights to find out which point is giving you the trouble. You only have to move it slightly to get the point out of the hole and remember to re-save your preset. We will be fixing this problem in the upcoming version.
Q: When will the next version of Gammawork be released?
A: We don't know yet. Our programmers are currently busy working on other projects right now.
